Weekend Busy...

I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend! We began the weekend by applying a waterproofing stain to the pier Friday evening. With hubby and I both working, we finished just before dark.

Much better! Though my shoulder are sore this morning...

Saturday we worked together again, preparing an Easter lunch for our family. Cooper "helped" by stealing the aluminum foil from the counter.

Sunday morning we packed the food in a cooler and headed to Auburn, enjoying the food at Daughter 1's home. We had a lovely lunch with both daughters and their guys - and it also turned into a surprise early birthday party for hubby - presents, home made caramel cake (Daughter 2), and the works.

It POURED rain on the way home to the lake, but then the skies cleared and we were treated to a glorious sunset.

Today I hope to get back to sewing...
