Cooper on Campus

Here's a bit of what I'm working on today. Yes, there are also hexies involved! :)

Yesterday afternoon, Daughter 1 and SIL came over and borrowed Cooper. They took him on a long walk around campus. He had the best time ever!

It's a chilly and rainy day here. I'm staying in to sew. I did a lot of cooking yesterday so we're set for meals this week: cooked and shredded chicken, cooked and shredded pork tenderloin, made fruit salad, boiled a pile of eggs for breakfast. Speaking of which...I discovered the BEST way to peel hard boiled eggs! Put the egg in a mason jar with a little water, put the lid on the jar, shake vigorously. That's it. The shell will come off easily. I discovered this tip on Pinterest.
