MORE...Hand Stitching!

Well...I never made it to my machine yesterday. But I did finish this Rowdy Flat Library Quilt block. No bird, no butterfly, no bee - just one snail and a caterpillar.

And I also started another Farmer's Daughter block. Yes, another VERY ORANGE one to help balance things out. Did you know that I think this is my last block for this quilt?! The pattern calls for 25 blocks to make it a square quilt, but I want mine to be a rectangle. And I do believe this one will finish it off.

The blocks will be set on point, so I do have to make the setting triangles. Each one has an eight pointed star (a smaller version of the center of the main block) in it.

And here's my big boy. Can you see the drool coming out of both sides of his mouth? Yes, if we are eating, he is drooling. Drip, drip. Despite his destructive puppyhood, we think he is one of the best dogs we've ever had. And we've had a lot of dogs over the years.

Have a marvelous Monday!
