Art Show!

It seems like I've been waiting for this day forever! Hubby helped me set up...

I think most of the neighborhood turned out!

There were 22 of us displaying and selling. There were framed photographs, oil paintings, candles, jewelry, bird houses, painted oars, homemade jelly, freshly baked bread, wine for tasting, doll clothes, etc., etc.

We had so much fun and met many neighbors we didn't know. All of Hubby's golfing buddies were there. He had a great time visiting - have I mentioned he like to visit? He was in hog heaven! All in all it was a great afternoon. I came home too tired to cook the dinner I had planned, but luckily I had an easy Plan B. I may stay in my recliner all day today.... or better yet, out on the porch, with some hand stitching.

Oh, and by the way....lots of neighbors want me to paint their doggies....

I forgot to mention yesterday...I did weigh on the last day of March. I lost another 2 pounds during the month. That seems to be the way it will go for now unless I were to kick up the exercise. When my biopsy spots heal I may get back into my swimming routine. But hey, 32.5 pounds is not shabby! Yes, every half pound counts!

Tonight we'll grill the chicken that we didn't grill last night- haha! It's a new-to-me recipe. I've had the chicken breasts marinating in Sprite (diet, of course!) and lots of garlic in the refrigerator for a couple of days. Before cooking I'll drain it and sprinkle it with lemon pepper seasoning. Sounds good, doesn't it? And some fresh roasted broccoli.

Let's make it a relaxing day, why don't we?
