Yes, there were LOTS of hexies in Houston! One of my faithful readers and I agreed that Hexie Hunting should be an Olympic sport - haha!
The ear saga continues…. I went back to the doctor yesterday. The good news is that my ears are no longer infected. But I'm still in pain and they are still stopped up. The doctor can see a big air bubble on the inside of my eardrum in one ear. He gave me a steroid shop and instructions to drink LOTS of water and take an over the counter medicine. If the bubble has not popped by Monday he's sending me to an ENT to (most likely) stick a needle through my eardrum to pop the bubble. Eek! But it will be worth it to relieve the pressure! Hopefully it will clear up on it's own over the weekend!
I did feel like spending a couple of hours in my studio this morning - yay for that!
So beautiful hexie quilts. Yvonne Porcella is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I hope your ear clears up by itself!!
ReplyDeleteOUCH I hate when my ears hurt. I hope that naughty bubble pops, actually I hope it slowly goes down just in case popping might hurt.
ReplyDeleteHexie hunting is fun no matter where you do it. ;)
Delighted to find your new book posted through my letter box when I got home yesterday, it is full of inspiration thanks. I highly recommend it to one and all
ReplyDeleteDo hope the bubble bursts rather than having it done and the ear is soon back to normal.
First, hope that bubble is gone and you're out of pain already. Those are two gorgeous examples of hexies! I invite you to link to Hexie Weekend, ends Monday, midnight, to share these wonderful creations with hexagons. My favorite is the second one. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow,stunning.Thanks for the pics!!
ReplyDeleteI love this little table runner runner, what are the centers of the hexies?
