Another House Block

I'll have to admit there was a bit of teeth gnashing and ripping out in the making of this block. But it did survive and get finished. I ran out of the polka dot fabric for the background so I used a different fabric for the 'ground'. The door, the door. Not happy with it. I think it needs a pop of color, don't you? 

I'm not going to start over; I think I'll appliqué a new door on top.
