Yesterday I had my first BLT of the year - my favorite sandwich! Tomato came from the Auburn Ag Farmer's Market. Yum!
I basted and stitched together DOZENS of hexies! These were two of my favorites. Yes, my hands are tired. I really need to rest them, but I am so very close to finishing! Hate to stop now!
But I do have so many other things that need my attention, so maybe today I will take a break from them. I need to hide the hexies - when I see them on my table I just want to pick them up and pet them and sew them together...
Oh. Dear. One of my hexies had a hole chewed in it. Cooper! Actually, it might have been Prince because I caught him with a few hexie papers in his mouth today... Luckily I found the same fabric and made a replacement.
Later I found Cooper outside with pine cones in his mouth. Good boy, Cooper. He still keeps checking out the garbage cabinet to no avail. Poor baby.
So what will I do today if I don't stitch hexies? Maybe work on the next issue of Hexie Love. Maybe work on Quick Books. Definitely going to lunch with a friend.
