Okay....a non-quilting post. Did you do paint-by-numbers as a kid? I loved them!
Is it weird that I have done original watercolors, but still want to paint by numbers? Then call me weird! I got this kit and it's definitely not the kind I did when I was young. This kit is VERY detailed and elaborate. Love me a challenge!
Here's another shot so you can see the size and detail. By golly, that's a LOT OF spaces to fill in! But I see it as hours of relaxing, peaceful enjoyment.
Any guesses on what the picture is????
My sister just showed me her paint by number piece. It's on canvas and a picture of a street in Paris. Really tiny areas...like yours! she said she is enjoying it but thinks it might take forever. What fun we had as kids doing these!
ReplyDeleteI love them too, but don't do them, but gave my 5yr old a cat one from amazon, the directions in there were very Engrish! (chinese english translated very poorly) it was hilarious to read out loud. the paints were good quality, other craft store sets were bad, the paints of ten dried up....
