Travel Iron Tote!

Here's the little project I made Sunday afternoon - it's a tote for my travel iron. Most members of my guild have a little travel iron like mine for our retreats. It's a low wattage so we can all have one at our tables without blowing a breaker. We also have a few large ironing boards and irons through the room for bigger projects.

This little tote folds out and has heat resistant fabric on the inside, so it doubles as a pressing mat.

Here's the pattern with heat resistant lining included. This was fun to make though the instructions were not that great, to be honest. But I figured it out and I love the way it turned out!

Yesterday I worked on Bring Me Flowers, some cutting...I'll show you tomorrow. Today I think I'll do some hand sewing.

For those of you with Instant Pots...I made THIS recipe for Pork Chops and Celery Rice last night and it was a HIT! So good!

  1. We made one of those at a retreat for our big iron. It comes in so handy. You're going to love using it. And it's so pretty. Thanks for the recipe. I'm sending it on to my DIL who has one of those pressure cookers.

  2. Sooo cute! I have a similar pattern for a larger iron in my to-make pile. I'll also be checking out the recipe--I'm still learning how to use my IP.
