A Little Christmas Giftie...

I made this little quiltie yesterday afternoon - a gift for my mother-in-law.  Years ago I made her and my mother a little table top quilt stand, just big enough for a 5.5" square quilt.  I gave them each a little Santa quilt to hang in it, with the promise of more quilties for other seasons.  Of course, neither got any more quilties.  :(

I thought my MIL would like this little hexie quiltie to hang in her stand when it's NOT Christmas.  My mother got one just like it except it was made with Dad's shirts.

Please note that I'm now accepting pre-orders for Quick and Easy Hexie Quilts, due out in the Spring!  Yay!

A Hexie Christmas Ornament

What a fantastic idea for a hexie ornament!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the jingle bell hanging in the center!  This was made by Wilma Hurley Hennebury.  Great job Wilma and can't wait to see more hexies from you!  (Can you believe this was her first hexie project?)  :)

Remember that blob of hexies?  No one correctly guessed what it is.  So I feel I must reveal its identity. Does the picture help any?
