Love the colors ...Celtic Solstice is so beautiful! Love the colors you are using. Yes - I think I will try chunky! I like seeing the design in groups like that and also making it ahead some - but is only good if you already know how spacing will work out. I am always worried about having too many of same color together until I get them all made (ie - scrappy quilts, etc.). Would help having a design wall I guess! LOL...I can use all the help I can get with ripping. LOL I always think about doing chunks, because I do not like the long rows, but then I do the long rows. I really will try to chunk it next time. ;)Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10091568315821485891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7893916114262971884.post-49152407583345015172015-01-28T13:47:50.949-08:002015-01-28T13:47:50.949-08:00A bird as a seam ripper! Instead I get all the blocks made and sew them together in quadrants. This way I only have to sew the width of the quilt once. For me, the longer the seam, the more likely it is that I will get off. Thus I prefer to break things up into as short of seams as possible. It takes a little planning but I'd rather plan than rip.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13665481715449959495noreply@blogger.com
