Me? Sewing With RED Fabric???

If you know me well, you know I don't put much red in my quilts. I'm just not a fan. I see quilts with red in them and love them, but I don't use it much. I probably should though.

So why am I making red and white blocks? Well...it's a secret project. And I was only making a few blocks. I love the way they turned out! Maybe I should become a red fan again?

Now that the Masters golf tournament is over (I was disappointed with who won...were you?) we are full speed ahead at the lake. We'll be there a good bit this week to empty the house. A POD is being delivered tomorrow for the things we're keeping. A charity is sending a truck the next day for our donations.

Have a great day!

  1. Interesting how we lean towards certain colors and shy away from even using other colors...guess it's just like our wardrobe! Maybe that's the kye! We know what colors look good on us and we must carry this over into our quilting! HA...just thought of that!

  2. The color red is good luck in China. I like it a lot - I just worry about it running when next to white.

  3. I love red...it's blue that I don't like to work with. It's strange that I should feel that way though because as a general rule I associate the color red with Alabama...it's gotten so bad that I don't believe I can ever have another red car. Also I too was disappointed with the Masters winner. Oh, well! I'm sure Mr. Reed is completely unconcerned about my opinion.
