Shopping, Eating, Sewing, and Cookies!

What a busy day! We headed out early and finished our Christmas shopping. Yay!

Then on to have lunch out with an old friend and her husband. Fun!

Then home to grab a quick nap and sew. Above are the two units of Clue 4, the top for Bonnie's colors, the bottom in Christmas colors. I actually finished all the sewing for this clue, but I need to press them today.

Next I baked cookies. Aren't they cute? My favorite cookies are simple, no frills,

These turned out so well! We like them so much that I think I'll make another batch later this week.

I do have an errand or two to run today, but mostly I'll be home to press these pieced units and do a bit more baking.

Have a fun day!

  1. I thought I was the only person still doing the push-out cookies with the cookie gun, my mom called them the "oh shit!" cookies cuz that's what we heard from the kitchen while she was making them! Enjoy your cookies, Merry Christmas from York PA!

    1. That is the funniest thing ever! Laughing out loud!!!!

I have never had a cookie ‘gun’ - I bought one last year for very little and had never tried it. So these cookies were its maiden voyage. It was so much fun to make them and I even had Hubby ‘shoot’ a few.

I have two good friends here in Auburn, Alabama who moved from Warren, PA - is that close to you?

      Merry Christmas!
