Fun Fabrics

Look at the cute mice marching along the selvage of this Tula Pink fabric - and do you see the name of the fabric? EEK! Love it! I fussy cut some leaves from this yesterday for my RFLQ block, making sure to include a mouse in the two leaves I cut from this.

Here we go, with lots of leaves and a bee body ready to appliqué. This block calls for my initial at the bottom - that is a 'J' ready to needle turn in place.

I spent some time yesterday with my old Pfaff, making sure it is still in working order. It is! I packed it back up and it will travel to retreat with me in a couple of weeks.

Another task I completed yesterday was to do a bit of reorganizing in my sewing room. Now that I've lived with it for almost a year (can it be that long?!), I want to move some things around a bit. I still need to work on the closet, but I'll get to that another day.

I may give machine quilting a try today and see how my back holds up - I can't wait to get Autumn Garden finished. I have a dental appointment this morning, too.

Wishing you a happy day!
