On the Road...

We were gone for about 8 hours yesterday and this is the only photo I took. Yup, I did stitch in the car on the way. Butterflies....

We went to Tuscaloosa to attend our SIL 2's final recital for his doctorate program. We had a great time and it was so good to share a few big hugs with Daughter 2. SIL1 came to our house and checked on the doggies for us.

I would have finished the RFLQ block in the car except for the fact that we drove home in the dark. Maybe I'll finish it later today.

We managed to arrive home at 10 pm WITHOUT finding out who won the Master's. Hubby stayed up really late watching and as I write this, we are re-watching the last few holes because Hubby said, "You have to see this!"

It's Machine Quilting Monday - and get this...I'm actually going to machine quilt! Woohoo! I'm back on track! The plan is to finish the ditch quilting on Autumn Garden. I also have to run a quick errand or two - returning the doggy favor and checking in on our grand-dog. And I want to buy some herb plants - I bought a cut little tiered planter for this. We rarely eat out and I love to use fresh herbs in our meals. Let's hope I can keep them alive!

Have a marvelous Monday!
