Can you believe this is the next to last stop on the hop?! It's been a blast and still another day tomorrow!
Today I'm introducing you to Joan Shay, the queen of dimensional appliqué. Joan and I met in Cleveland - I had breakfast with both Joan Shay and Becky Campbell - we all wished we had more time together! They had to rush off for hair and makeup for filming so our time was limited. Since we are all three AQS authors, we had LOTS to talk about and lots of ideas to share. Fun!

So did you have a nice weekend? I'm working hard on the next Hexie Love issue - it's going to be a fun one! We also took some long walks and watched the Masters golf tournament. I love designing the pages, but I'll have to admit, I'm anxious to get back to SEWING!

The general instructions for Odyssey (the progressive quilt pattern for 2015) are in the first issue, including the fabric requirements and the directions for the center medallion.

I've been enjoying the hexie hop and love seeing projects and getting some tips, too. I was disappointed when some of the stops were via Facebook. I don't do Facebook so that left me out. Perhaps next time you might want to host those people on your blog...just thinking. Back tomorrow. :)
